The overall theme or lesson of the Full Moon Cycle of Libra is about the law and how it relates to matters of the human heart. It also speaks of taking on partners and the traditions of generations past. This the time of the year when the Earth herself is showing some signs of awakening buds on trees, the grass is turning green birds are building nests and laying eggs. This lunar cycle relates to the ideals of liberty, love, union and truth. This is the time of the year when the Earth herself is barren yet on the edge of springing into life. The full moon in Libra is the first full moon after the Vernal Equinox. This lunation signals the week of Passover for Jews and the first Sunday after this full moon is Easter for Christians.
On Easter morning Mary Magdelan (in the card) was the first to see Jesus. The feminine energy always comes first in the story of rebirth, The seed and the womb. The tomb symbolizes the womb. The hare is associated with fertility and magic and the eggs symbolize the cracking open of the earth, ( the cracking of the shell, inside is the white layer that is the full moon and the inside is the sun the yolk also the seed that represents the growth of your intentions set. This is the story I was told by my grandmothers growing up. They wanted me to always be proud of my female energy and to celebrate the life giving power. When we were all together in the kitchen or creating in the garden. The stories were told of the seed planting and opening in the earth with the hull of the seed cracking open, the eggs symbolize the eggs inside the woman's womb as well. So much wisdom here of celebrating yourself and all that you are in your truth and the authentic power of you. Mary Magdelan was and is a Woman that represents balance. The balance of justice, not taking on the worlds view of what we have to be from outside energies. That we can change and ascend to the next level of what we intend to be at anytime. We are to forgive ourselves and allow our mistakes to show not as a marked woman of a journey of failures, but as a woman of power that knows who she is at any moment is enough to begin.
This moon will ask you to see the truth in situations or come to acknowledge the start of your own feelings.
Is your heart heavy or light?
Have you been living in accordance with your own rules or the rules of others?
What decisions are you weighing? What are the pros and cons?
What consequences are you experiencing as the result of some previous action or event in your life?
What is the needed to balance any situations you are in?What do you need to do to be true to yourself?
